Russia to announce true day in Ukraine for Orthodox Christmas – report

This weekend is Orthodox Christmas and Russia has said it will declare a truce from 12:00 p.m. Jan. 6 to 12:00 a.m. Jan. 7, according to Interfax.

This is after Patriarch Kirill – who is Putin’s highest priest – called for a Christmas truce.
