Speaking at the plenary session of the Russian Energy Week International Forum in Moscow on October 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that his country is aiming for carbon neutrality by 2060.
“In practice, Russia will strive to achieve carbon neutrality in its economy. And we have set a concrete goal – no later than 2060, ”Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 13 at an energy forum in Moscow. A more ambitious strategy than until now and announced shortly before Cop-26.
