A church in Madison, Wisconsin was vandalized with abortion graffiti, the Madison Police Department said.

Authorities said the main entrance to St. Bernard Catholic Church was spray-painted with “anti-‘pro-life’ and anti-police” messages on Sunday, Fox 47 reported.

The graffiti posts included profanity and referred to the deaths of Native American children, photos show.

The incident comes as several religious institutions were damaged or vandalized following the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturning of the landmark abortion decision Roe v. Wade.

The church pastor said he would pray for the culprit or culprits who committed the crime, which he said is “doing nothing” to help those affected by the Supreme Court ruling.

“St. Bernard Parish is saddened by the graffiti on the front of the church. We understand people’s anger over the recent Supreme Court decision, but it does nothing to solve the problems,” the pastor said. of St. Bernard Michael Radowicz in a press release. , reported WMTV.

“We join in prayer for those who did this, that the Lord may heal their hearts. An investigation is ongoing with Madison police,” he added.

Investigators are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and are offering a cash reward for any clues leading to an arrest, police said.

The incident comes after the office of pro-life group Wisconsin Family Action was burned down last month, Fox 47 reported.

Vandals in Virginia also targeted a pro-life center in Lynchburg, with menacing graffiti and smashed windows.

“If abortion isn’t safe, you aren’t safe,” reads red graffiti on an entrance to the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center.
