Rockstar makes a big change in the preparation of the GTA 6 trailer

Rockstar Games’ website has received a notable overhaul whose timing suggests this move is linked to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal. While this isn’t the first time a Rockstar website has sparked GTA6 rumors, this kind of speculation seems more anchored in reality this time.

This is mainly because Rockstar recently confirmed that the first GTA6 the trailer arrives in early December. In other words, the game’s long-awaited marketing campaign should finally start in a few weeks.

The redesign, first spotted by RGT leak Tez2, introduces the integration of Rockstar Social Club and a new permanent menu on the studio’s official website, among other changes. The old hamburger menu icon has been replaced with a black and white Rockstar logo which still serves a similar function, as clicking on it will trigger a drop-down box allowing users to navigate between the home page, Rockstar’s game catalog and the company’s news service.

To the right of this icon is a new permanent menu containing alternative links to Games and Newswire, as well as those directing users to the Videos and Downloads sections of the site. Speaking of downloads, the redesign added a large button prompting users to install the Rockstar Games Launcher to the upper right corner of every page on the site. Links to Rockstar’s online storefront and support pages are now also more visible on the site and can be found in the More dropdown on the main menu.

In terms of features, the biggest change came in the form of an improved search function allowing visitors to filter their queries by categories, including games, posts, videos and usernames.
