Rockstar Games and Social Club websites are updated

The Rockstar Games and Rockstar Social Club websites have been updated with a new look to be more integrated. Launching on Monday, the studio behind Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption has released some changes ahead of the GTA 6 trailer.

New integration

Rockstar Social Club is now accessible via the Rockstar Games website. Your Rockstar Social Club account and data are now present in the main pages of the game. You can view your progress, your character and much more via this drop-down menu.

New search

The search bar has received some changes. Bullets have now been added to it to filter your search on games, posts, videos and community. The community bullet has a drop-down list for users, teams, tasks, user photos and videos.

New menu

Clicking on the Rockstar Games logo in the upper left corner now reveals a drop-down menu. This offers three options: Home, Games and Newswire.

Home is self-explanatory, Games is the list of all Rockstar titles, and Newswire takes you to their famous blog.

New Social Club Member Milestone

As spotted by Tez2, Rockstar Games has provided an update on the number of Rockstar Social Club accounts. Previously, if you were logged out and tried to visit the Rockstar Social Club, the message “Join over 100 million members” was displayed. This figure has now increased to “more than 200 million members”. These changes come after GTA V inches closer to 200 million copies sold worldwide, with the recently announced figure being 190 million.

Why did Rockstar do this?

It’s no surprise that Rockstar Games has started preparing for the GTA 6 reveal. When the GTA V trailer was revealed, the countdown was an iconic part of their website ahead of the trailer’s release. announcement.

How Rockstar Games will handle the release of the GTA 6 trailer is currently unknown, except that it will arrive “in early December.”
