With this entry into the capital of the economic newsletter, the Rivacom agency has set new objectives in this regard: deployment of the title on all digital information channels, creation of B to B events and development of the number of subscribers. Stanislas du Guerny, founder and director of Brittany’s Economic Letter, agreed with Régis Rassouli, CEO of Rivacom (Telegram group) an agreement for a period of two years at the end of which the communication agency will take all of the media’s capital.
This merger is a new development axis for Rivacom, founded 24 years ago by Régis Rassouli. Structured around two activities (corporate communication and events), the agency based in Brest and Rennes is an important player in communication in Brittany. This acquisition of a stake in La Lettre économique de Bretagne is part of the development of the new digital department created in 2020 under the Bright brand and managed by Gwenaëlle Quenaon-Hervé. It is also in line with the agency’s expertise in terms of business relations.
Editorial line retained
From an editorial point of view, the newsletter, which has been in existence for more than 30 years, will keep its current style. It will remain piloted by Stanislas du Guerny for the next two years. Responsible for the editorial direction of La Lettre Économique de Bretagne, Stanislas du Guerny will be supported by The Telegram, a reference shareholder of Rivacom, which will also invest in this dimension. The morning and daily distribution in newsletter format remains unchanged. This new partnership will take shape in June and changes will be announced very quickly in the second half of 2021.
