A$AP wife Rocky was accused of cheating Rihanna with belies the “unfounded lie” that has spread like wildfire on social networks this week.
Amina Muaddi, a prominent shoe designer who was behind Rihanna’s Fenty 2020 collection, released a statement on Friday addressing the rumor and calling it “false gossip.”
“I have always thought that an unfounded lie spread on social media deserved no response or clarification, especially one so despicable. I first assumed that this false gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be not taken seriously. However, in the last 24 hours I have been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to talk about topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off limits, not even during this which should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated moments of his life,” Muaddi’s statement begins.

“Therefore, I have to speak up because this is not only directed at me, but it is related to the people I have great respect and affection for. As Rih continues to live her serene pregnancy life and best dressed and back to my business – I wish everyone a lovely Easter weekend!” Muaddi’s statement concludes.
The Twitter user who originally posted the rumor has since retracted the claim, writing on Twitter that it was a “dumb decision to tweet some information I received”. The user plans to move away from Twitter.

“I have no excuse for this, I’ve been so wrapped up in Twitter drama and unfortunately I tend to be messy as a brand, which I’m going to steer clear of in the future,” reads- on in a tweet from the user.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have yet to comment on the affair. Representatives for the couple did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.
Just a day before the cheating rumor went viral on social media, Muaddi posted photos of Rihanna on her Instagram wearing a pink ensemble and showing off her baby bump.

Earlier this week, Rihanna, 34, graced the cover of Vogue’s May 2022 issue wearing a red lace Alaïa jumpsuit, complete with high heels and matching gloves.
In her interview with the outlet, Rihanna opened up about her pregnancy fashion and how her influence will be seen when she dresses her child with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I was like, ‘There’s no way I’m going shopping in the maternity aisle,'” Rihanna said. “I’m sorry, it’s too much fun to dress up. I’m not going to let that part go away because my body is changing.”
The star has been exposing her baby bump since announcing the news of her pregnancy in January.

Rihanna went on to explain how she believes women shouldn’t “hide your pregnancy.”
“I hope we were able to redefine what is considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women,” she began. “My body is doing amazing things right now, and I won’t be ashamed of it. This time it should be a party. Because why should you hide your pregnancy?”
Rihanna explained that she had “always thought” for her life, that it would be “marriage first, then a baby”. However, she notes, “Who said it had to be like this? I’m definitely not going to let that stop me from being a mom.”
Rihanna has also been candid about what she fears the most: potential postpartum depression.
“Will I feel out of control emotionally? It’s the stories I hear from other women that scare me,” she said.
In January, the singer proudly debuted nude baby bump during an outing with Rocky. The couple were walking around Harlem, their hometown. As the lovebirds held hands, a paparazzo managed to snap photos, which were obtained by Popular magazine.

The couple have been friends for years, but went public with their relationship in 2020.
Rocky, born Rakim Athelaston Mayers, told June/July 2021 issue of GQ that the makeup mogul was “the one”.
“The love of my life,” he exclaimed at the time. “Mrs.”
