Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Texas., on Thursday called out DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for blaming Congress for the mass migration of illegal immigrants. Fallon said Democrats could introduce border security legislation and “every Republican” would support it. He also said drug cartels have figured out how to sneak drugs across the border with agents trying to deal with migrant families.

UNION BORDER PATROL LEADER SAYS MAYORKAS WANT TO RESOLVE BORDER CRISIS, BUT CUT OFF BY BIDEN

REPRESENTING. PAT FALLON: He blamed Congress. Well, who’s running Congress right now? The Democratic Party controls both chambers. if they bring this to the ground, every Republican will vote for it.

Border Patrol will tell us that if there are 3,500 illegal border crossings in one day, that stretches resources to the limit. Anything more than that, there will be swathes of the border that will be unmanned. We have 9,000 a day. Cartels are therefore rather clever. They earn $4,000 per migrant crossing the border. Doing the math, it’s about a billion a month that they earn from human trafficking alone, not to mention narcotics. What a sector with people. And then Border Patrol, they treat them, they transport them, they change diapers, they administer COVID tests. And then the cartels smuggle their drugs. This is why we are seeing record numbers of narcotics hitting our streets.
