Released talents would be present at AEW Full Gear 2022

If reports are to be believed, former AEW star Marko Stunt may be at tonight’s AEW Full Gear event.

Marko Stunt was best known for his time alongside Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus to form Jurassic Express, starting in 2019 until his departure from the promotion in 2022. However, towards the end, he seemed to be phased out of the trio by at least place of Christian Cage, with whom Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus captured the AEW tag titles.

AEW will not be renewing Marko Stunt’s contract. “He was called by Christopher Daniels and told that due to a growing roster and ‘budget cuts’ they couldn’t renew him. The split was amicable and the conversation went downhill. went smoothly.” – via @FightfulSelect https://t.co/s9x2njHny4

Stunt would leave the company when Tony Khan chose not to renew his contract, and Marko made it clear that communication between him and the promotion broke down near the end.

Fightful Select reported he was in town for Full Gear. While it hasn’t been said whether or not he’s slated for the show, he might find himself involved in the fight between Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus.
