Sexy “Bridgerton” star Regé-Jean Page triggered a deep breath from the cast of “Saturday Night Live” and wild screams from the audience during his monologue as the host for the first time.
The track was supposed to be a show of his burning appeal as the Duke of Hastings on the Netflix series, but it was pretty much about the money.
“You probably recognize me on ‘Bridgerton,’ the show that got everyone to turn to their mom and say, ‘You know what? Regardless, I don’t think we should watch this together. It’s a bit of a racy show, ”he explained in the monologue.
“Because of this, people can associate me with this sultry and hot smoke show. But I assure you I’m just an ordinary guy, ”Page insisted.
Then he turned to a separate camera, “I’m here to show you a good time. I want us to have fun together, to explore each other. Do you like it?
Cast members Aidy Bryant, Ego Nwodim and Chloe Fineman – who dressed up as Page co-star Phoebe Dynevor – got down to drooling. He insisted that he was “actually kind of a nerd.” But they weren’t buying it.
Later in the show, Page and Fineman were dragged into sex scenes for a fake episode of “Bridgerton” by spooky backup “intimacy coaches” played by Pete Davidson and Mikey Day.
