Reese Witherspoon announces divorce from husband Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth decide to call it quits.

“It is with great care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” read a note the ‘Big Little Lies’ star posted to Instagram on Friday. “We have had so many wonderful years together and move forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for all that we have created together.”

The note, which was signed “Reese and Jim”, also stated that “the couple’s highest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter”.

Witherspoon and Toth have a son together, Tennessee, 10. She also shares two adult children, Ava and Deacon Phillippe, with ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe.
