Rohit was scheduled to fly with the team on Thursday. But sources close to Rohit have told InsideSport that due to a pressing commitment on the family front, Rohit will now fly on Friday.
Meanwhile, former skipper Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and other Indian players who are not part of the ongoing T20I five-game series against South Africa have already landed in England.
R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Prasidh Krishna, Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari and KS Bharat are the other players who left for England.

Meanwhile, head coach Rahul Dravid will join the team only after the conclusion of the current series against South Africa, which ends on Sunday. Besides him, current series skipper Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer will also be leaving for England after the current series.
As for India’s England assignments, they will begin with a postponed test match against the Three Lions at Edgbaston on 1st July. Following this, Rohit Sharma’s side will play 3 ODIs and as many T20I matches as well
