Rave party in the Côtes-d’Armor: the prefect prohibits any musical gathering – Saint-Brieuc

A rave party unauthorized, which could bring together several thousand participants, is likely to take place in Côtes-d’Armor, between Friday June 11 and Monday June 14. Information that prompted the prefect, Thierry mosimann, to take “a set of provisions by decree to prohibit this type of gathering in the department this weekend”.

In all of Côtes-d’Armor, from Friday 11 June at 12 noon to Monday 14 June at 8 am, “festive gatherings of a musical nature” and “the circulation of any vehicle carrying sound equipment ( sound system) intended for a festive gathering of an unauthorized musical nature, on all road networks ”.

Subject to sanctions

Measures taken, in particular, “in the face of public order and health risks represented by this type of grouping. And given the fragility of the situation with regard to the circulation of Covid-19 ”.

The prefect, who calls “for the responsibility and the respect of these provisions”, recalls that any infringement is punishable by sanctions and “can give place to the seizure of the material with a view to its confiscation by the court”.

The police and gendarmerie, for their part, will be mobilized throughout the weekend “to ensure the maintenance of public order and compliance with the braking measures in force in the fight against the epidemic of covid-19 “.
