Rapper Tyga arrested in domestic violence investigation

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Rapper Tyga was arrested Tuesday in connection with a domestic violence investigation, authorities said.

Tyga, 31, whose legal name is Michael Stevenson, was booked after an incident in Hollywood on Tuesday, Los Angeles police said.

He was released after posting a $ 50,000 bond, according to prison records.

The arrest came after fashion designer Camaryn Swanson, his 22-year-old ex-girlfriend, posted images of her face with one black eye online.

“I have been abused emotionally, mentally and physically and I don’t hide it,” Swanson said in an Instagram story.

An email requesting comment from a Tyga representative was not immediately returned.

The rapper was also previously in a relationship with reality TV stars Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna.
