The Las Vegas Raiders made one of the best trades of the offseason to acquire star receiver Davante Adams.

At the time, some people wondered how Adams would fare without Aaron Rodgers.

Well, he hasn’t missed a beat this season.

Once again putting in some monster numbers and making the case for the all-pro first team.

Adams immediately became quarterback Derek Carr’s favorite target.

Additionally, his play was a major reason for the Raiders’ three-game winning streak.

Las Vegas realizes their offense is at its best when Adams gets the ball back.

That’s why he’s averaged 13.4 targets per game over the last five.

Trading a big pick package for a wide receiver can be a risky proposition.

But, the 29-year-old receiver has shown he’s well worth all the project capital dropped.

Despite starting the year 2-7, the Raiders are back in the hunt for the playoffs after the aforementioned three-game winning streak.

Las Vegas is set to face the injury-depleted Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, a game the Raiders are expected to win.

Adams greatness

During the season, Adams leads the NFL in targets with 135.

Additionally, in 12 games, he has 1,176 yards and 12 touchdowns.

He is one of the NFL’s elite touchdown makers in his position.

It’s the third straight year Adams has had at least 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns.

With five games left, there’s a chance Adams can beat his career-high 18 touchdowns.

Expect Adams to continue dominating the league in hopes he can get the Raiders back to the playoffs.
