Frankie Dettori will headline Newmarket Red in the Racing League this summer, backed by a very strong support group.
Dettori, 55, is an absolute legend in the sport, riding over 250 Group 1 winners over three decades in the saddle and continuing his successful partnership with John and Thady Gosden.
The Italian was a hero of his teammate Luke Morris, who lines up alongside Jamie Spencer in the groundbreaking team competition.
The trio will also share the rides of several winning Group 1 coaches, Sir Mark Prescott, Robert Cowell and David Simcock, the team manager.

Luc Morris …
“Frankie is a great guy and he was really my hero growing up so it’s great to be on a team with him. He’s having a wonderful season as always.
“Jamie Spencer is a good friend and he brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
“We are backed by strong coaches. John and Thady Gosden will hopefully have smart horses for the team.
“David Simcock and Robert Cowell, for whom I ride regularly, are bound to bring great horses and sprinters, as will my boss, Sir Mark.
“It’s a really exciting team and we have a lot of strength at depth. I hope there will be some nice disabled horses because the prize money is fantastic. If we can get a piece of the pie that would be great.
“Having something to look forward to every Thursday will be great and I’m sure the audience will feel the same. Every Thursday I hope they can tune into Sky Sports for something a little different.”
Jamie Spencer …
“Frankie doesn’t need to be introduced. He’s been going for years and is still doing very well.
“Luke is an incredibly consistent runner who works extremely hard and has had many winners all year round. He will be a great asset to us.
“We have a variety of trainers. Frankie will know the Gosden horses well and Cowell’s are generally sprinters so that will help in that area.”
