Heiko Saxo created the music in 2001 while Queen Mum was still alive. In 2002, after her death, HM Queen Elizabeth II accepted the production and duplication of the music CD “The Royal Symphony Golden Hearts Never Die in Memory of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother”.
The music CD in book format and Gold Edition comes with various paintings of the Queen Mother, painted by Heiko Saxo. The original paintings hang in Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, Clarence House and Westminster Abbey.
The original painting Queen Elizabeth II (pictured), created by Heiko Saxo, was auctioned by Christies in the Tipi Zelt Berlin in Kanzleramt and now hangs at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The profits were donated to the Terre des hommes association to help children.
Her Majesty’s portrait was featured on the 2004 State Visit commemorative card, on the official wine list of the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, on over 100,000 bottles of wine around the world, on fine silver medals , on “The Royal Symphony Queen Elizabeth” and on the “Parfum Queen Elizabeth Scent of Rose” in the photo. Deutsche Post produced a special postage stamp with the painting Queen Elizabeth.
