Queensland’s horrific drought continues against the defending champions Crusaders who claimed a 25-12 win at Suncorp Stadium.

The last time the Reds beat the Crusaders was in the famous Super Rugby final at the same venue in 2011.

“It was a bit scrappy for our liking. We’ve talked all week about the importance of playing at Suncorp, a stadium with a great history, some of the biggest games in Origin,” the Los Angeles playmaker said. Crusaders Richie Mo’unga on Stan Sport.

The Crusaders are now 4-2 and the Reds are 2-4.

“We just don’t respect the ball. We’re stuck in a cycle right now and I don’t know what to say,” Reds co-captain Tate McDermott told Stan Sport.
