Protesters march for teachers in downtown Portland

PORTLAND Oregon (KPTV) – Protesters staged a sit-in on the Burnside Bridge before marching to downtown Portland Tuesday morning.

There were apparently hundreds of people demonstrating as part of the PPS teachers’ strike.

Protesters blocked the Burnside Bridge for about an hour before heading toward Waterfront Park.

The Portland Police Bureau could not immediately be reached for comment.
