Prince Harry’s pals at prestigious Eton College in England have said he was ‘f–king crazy’ for dating Meghan Markle after she berated them for their ‘jokes about sexism, feminism and transgender people “, according to a new book.
The Duke of Sussex invited Markle, then his girlfriend, to meet his friends during a filming weekend at the royal family’s Sandringham estate in 2016 for “endless banter, jokes – and lots of it.” alcohol,” according to “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors,” excerpts of which were obtained by The Sun.
Sandringham’s group included 16 of Harry’s friends, along with their wives and girlfriends. But Markle didn’t enjoy the comedy between friends, according to the book written by British journalist Tom Bower.
“Without hesitation, Meghan challenged every guest whose conversation contravened her values,” the book claims. “According to Harry’s friends, she would berate them again and again about the slightest inappropriate nuance. No one was exempt.
Harry had apparently “not anticipated Meghan’s reaction”.
The pals concluded that Markle was a “party damper” and that Harry “must be f- -king crazy” to date her.
“She lacked a sense of humor,” the book reads. “On my way home after lunch on Sunday, the texts rang between the cars: ‘OMG, and SHE?’ ”
It wasn’t the only time Meghan clashed with Harry’s friends. During a 2017 trip to Jamaica for the wedding of Harry’s childhood pal Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip, friends thought the former ‘Suits’ star was acting like a ‘princess’.
During the three-day party in Montego Bay, Markle, who arrived by private jet from Toronto, “refused to engage with Harry’s friends.” Instead, she made “food remarks.”
