That “something big” is the Invictus Games 2023, which will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Harry founded the Invictus Games, a sports competition for sick and injured veterans, in 2014. He was inspired to lead the project due to his own experience in the military as well as a 2013 visit to the Warrior Games, in the USA. competition for wounded soldiers.
Last year was a difficult year for the Invictus Games. In March 2020, Harry announced that the 2020 event would be postponed to the following year after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. However, due to the lingering effects of the pandemic, the 2021 games have also been delayed. The next Invictus Games will start in 2022 in the Netherlands.
