Prevention of vector-borne diseases – Empowerment of organizations

Since January 1, 2020, the Hauts de France ARS has carried out entomological surveillance and intervention missions around human cases.

The public health code provides that the ARS can exercise its new prerogatives under direct management or entrust them to public or private organizations authorized by the Director General of the Agency.

The Director General of the ARS is organizing a call for applications to authorize public or private organizations in the Hauts de France region.

Interested public or private organizations may request authorization for one or more departments, as well as for one and/or both of the following missions:

• entomological monitoring of insect vectors and intervention around new establishments;
• prospecting, treatment and work around places frequented by reported human cases of arboviruses, in order to limit the spread of vector-borne diseases and epidemic risk.

To this end, in accordance with the conditions of authorization by the Director General of the ARS of public or private law bodies taken pursuant to the public health code, potential candidates are invited to complete the authorization file via the site simplified process until Saturday September 30, 2023.

Candidates will be informed by email of the acceptance or rejection of their authorization, as of October 27, 2023.

The authorization issued will take effect on 1^er January 2024 and will be valid for four years.
