Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with American entrepreneur and philanthropist Laurene Powell Jobs. The parties discussed the importance of preserving global unity around support for Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, reports a correspondent of Ukrinform.
“We discussed the importance of preserving global unity around support for Ukraine. I talked about the Diia portal for public services and the special tax regime for IT companies called Diia.City,” wrote the Ukrainian president.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine will continue to develop the digital industry, which proved its resilience and efficiency during the war.
The head of state expressed the hope that after the war, the IT industry will help to develop entrepreneurship more quickly, eradicate corruption and simplify the interaction between citizens and government institutions.
Recall that Laurene Powell Jobs is an American billionaire businesswoman and leader. She is the founder and president of Emerson Collective. Additionally, Laurene Powell Jobs is the widow of Steve Jobs, co-founder and former CEO of Apple Inc.
