Premier League X Nike reveal striking third ball for remainder of 2021/22 season
Nike has launched the third Flight ball for the 2021/22 Premier League as teams focus on the final challenges of the season.
The first Nike Flight design of this season came in white, orange and black which lasted until November and then was replaced by the cartoon effect of yellow, red and blue.
And now the latest installment incorporates a striking white, blue and crimson design with AerowSculpt technology improving consistency and giving truer flight.
Fans will get their first glimpse of the new ball this weekend when Leicester host Leeds at the King Power Stadium in Saturday’s kick-off.
The Premier League revealed: “The design has a ‘White/Baltic Blue/Laser Crimson/Black’ colourway, with a white base joined by the same graphic, inspired by the organic connectivity that featured on the first Flight ball this season and the high visibility.
“Where this ball stands out from previous ones this season are the 12 signal pods – the circles on the surface of the ball, which improve visual performance, allowing players to better read the rhythm and spin of the ball. These are more prominent, sitting above the other graphics.
Whether lifting the Premier League trophy, which features on the new ball, or the right to compete another season, the third Flight ball will be at the heart of the action.
The Nike Flight Ball will be available for purchase starting Friday, March 4 on Nike.com.
