The 2021/22 Premier League season ended in thrilling fashion on Sunday as Manchester City sealed the title in stunning fashion.

Pep Guardiola’s men came from 2-0 up with 14 minutes remaining at home to Aston Villa, scoring three times in five minutes, to edge past Liverpool and end the Reds’ four-time hope.

It sparked wild celebrations, some of which were doomed, as Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen was assaulted in a massive pitch invasion.

At the other end of the table, Leeds survived with a 2-1 victory at Brentford, while Burnley were relegated with a defeat at Newcastle.

And Tottenham clinched fourth place, qualifying for the Champions League against rivals Arsenal, with a 5-0 win at Norwich.
