Boston police found the body of a person in Boston Harbor on Friday.

The body was found along Waterside Avenue near Fan Pier in the Seaport District around 8.16am, according to the Globe.

Investigators have not released the person’s identity or details of the death.

Photographs taken at the scene show marine units from the Boston Police Department, State Police and Boston Fire Department assisting in the recovery of the body.
