Police raid Laurence Fox’s London home

London police raided the home of Reclaim Party leader Laurence Fox on Wednesday morning following comments that members of the public were destroying spy cameras for Mayor Sadiq Khan’s green agenda.

Update 1330: Laurence Fox arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage

The Metropolitan Police have now confirmed that the arrest Laurence Fox spoke about in his social media posts this morning did take place and he has been taken to the police station. In a Sky broadcast statement, a spokesperson said: “On Wednesday October 4, police officers arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras and having encouraged or assisted in the commission of offenses.

“He was arrested in Stockwell and taken to a center in the south London police station where he remains in police custody.

At least six police officers raided the home of My Son Hunter star Laurence Fox, who took to social media during the raid, saying in a video: “Look how many cops there are in my house…I come and take everything from my house. House. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the country we live in.

“In the knife-riddled capital of London, where a 15-year-old girl was stabbed to death with a sword, we have one, two, three more (police officers) upstairs flying around and going through my house.

“This is what the police are, they no longer monitor with consent, they monitor with fear and intimidation, it’s the Stasi police we have today, instead of going to the streets and solving crimes.”

In another video, Fox made reference to the destruction of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) spy cameras, suggesting that this was the cause of the police raid.

“The ULEZ scam cameras outside London are a total scam… it’s the result of a total surveillance state and these boys are the Stasi,” he said in reference to the police officers. “Have a lovely day, I’ll spend mine at the clink, won’t I!” Fox signed.

Fox had already do posts on social networks in which he seems to have encouraged the actions of the self-defense group “Blade Runner”, suspected of being responsible for the destruction of hundreds of spy cameras.

Calvin Robinson, fellow Fox presenter on GB News claims that the pretext for the search was suspicion of “conspiracy to cause criminal damage”.

“Laurence hasn’t done any Blade Running yet. This is a pre-crime,” Robinson said.

In response to the raid, Brexit leader Nigel Farage said: “This is so wrong and very scary. Why so many police?

Former Reclaim Party political candidate and friend of Fox, Leo Kearse added: “Laurence’s house is searched by the police, probably because they think he is the Blade Runner. Man, there’s a better chance he’s Banksy. Thoughts and prayers to all the Londoners who are getting stabbed while Sadiq’s henchmen are distracted going through his underwear drawer.

Martin Daubney, GB News presenter joked: “If only as many cops would show up if your house was broken into or you were mugged/assaulted in London. No chance!”
