Pittsburgh shooting leaves at least 10 dead and two dead

At least two people have died after a shooting in Pittsburgh, police said.
“Multiple shots fired in East Allegheny with multiple gunshot victims,” Pittsburgh Public Safety wrote in a tweet in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The department urged people to avoid the E Ohio Street area from Madison Avenue to Cedar Avenue. “It’s a very active scene,” he added.
In an update, the department wrote that about 10 people were receiving treatment for gunshot wounds.
“No less than 10 gunshot victims are treated in hospitals in the region, including three critics. Police are collecting evidence at multiple crime scenes,” the tweet read.
In a separate update, the department confirmed that two people had died.
“Two victims have been pronounced dead. There are also several injured individuals escaping gunfire,” the tweet read. “The investigation is ongoing.”
