The loot also includes “lots of golf clubs, baby stuff,” according to O’Rourke, as well as items to help with strength and conditioning, mental skills, athletic training, office supplies. “You basically pick it up here in Philadelphia and move it to Clearwater,” he said.
O’Rourke says each player and coach has their own assigned bin. He also sends jerseys, pants, bats, hoodies and helmets for new shortstop Trea Turner.
