Pete Davidson sings in SNL parody of “Walking In Memphis”

The King of Staten Island is coming home.

While he may have made the headlines earlier this week holding hands with Kim Kardashian, who he recently started dating, Pierre Davidson let her singing skills take center stage in a hilarious Staten Island-infused ode to her beloved hometown on Saturday Night Live November 20.

Entitled “Walking In Staten”, the song is a parody of Marc CohnThe 1991 hit “Walking in Memphis” and is full of references to what Davidson affectionately calls “the land of Colin JostThis includes the fact that Staten Island has “about 80 bagel spots,” “wild turkeys near the hospital,” and a “dump so big you can see it from space.”

The 28-year-old actor and comedian performed the track alongside Cohn himself, Male method of Wu-Tang Clan, and country artist Big wet, adding that the borough was “the place where everyone’s dreams collapse” and “the reason I got weird”.
