Mayim Bialik Isn’t Ready to Say Goodbye to Hosting ‘Jeopardy!’

The actress-turned-TV host revealed in a Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet interview that her current guest gig is something she’d like to make permanent.

“I would love that,” the former “Big Bang Theory” star told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday night.

“I like to say that I’ve lived from season to season, since I was about 13. So what I do know is that I’m hosting until May 6th, and beyond, I hope,” she added.

Bialik went on to say that she hoped to hear about her future at “Jeopardy!” “before May 6.”

Not only would becoming the game show host’s emcee be an honor because she’s been a fan since she was a teenager, but also because she’d make history as the first full-time host.

“I think being a woman is its own brand,” she told the outlet. “My grandparents were immigrants to this country, so I think for me to be a woman and a host in this iconic role across two generations is beyond me.”

Bialik, 46, also spoke about the late host Alex Trebek and her family, whom she had the chance to meet after her death.

MAYIM BIALIK AND KEN JENNINGS FOR HOST “JEOPARDY!” UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON

“I got to meet them when we dedicated the stage and I feel so humbled around them. I just want to honor. You can’t match it so there’s no need to try but do do it continually, and have their blessing and feel what they are doing is upholding that legacy,” she said.

The iconic quiz show announced in December that Bialik and Ken Jennings would continue to share hosting duties until the end of Season 38.

“We are thrilled to let you know that our excellent, experienced team in front of and behind the camera will continue into 2022: @missmayim and @KenJennings will share hosting duties until the end of #Jeopardy! Season 38, and Michael Davies will remain as executive producer,” the official “Jeopardy!” Twitter page confirmed.
