Pennsylvania police officers were monitoring traffic on Monday when a tire from a pickup truck flew through the air and shattered their front windshield.

Officers were parked in the middle lane of the 1300 block of Zion Road in Spring Township, Pennsylvania when the tire exited a pickup truck, hitting the divider lane and slamming into the windshield.

Dashcam footage released by the department shows the windshield shattering on impact. The department said after hitting the cruiser, the tire launched into the air and struck a moving vehicle coming the other way.
