Pathaan director Siddharth Anand is overwhelmed by massive success
Director Siddharth Anand is surfing on the success of his latest album Pathaan. The movie is breaking multiple records every day, setting a new benchmark for movies to come. The spy thriller was a highly anticipated film as it marked Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screens after four years. Fans were eager to see the King of Bollywood in the movies again and fulfilled their love for making the movie a blockbuster. Siddharth Anand, who directed the actor, commented on the film’s success. In a statement, he said he felt incredibly overwhelmed and was making history.
Pathan is truly making history by beating the box office collection of other films in Indian cinema. Not only is SRK breaking his own movie records by setting his new benchmark. The film was recorded as the biggest opening ever in Hindi cinema, earning 55 crores on its release day. Siddharth is inspired by the success of Pathaan and can’t wait to get back on set and create something truly special for audiences again.
According to ANI reports, talking about new records, Siddharth Anand said, “The story of the scripts. Everybody wants it, but we can’t plan it. It just happens. And when it happens, it’s It’s actually a very humbling experience.” He further added, with War and now Pathaan, the Hindi film industry has given films that have pan Indian appeal. He always believed that cinema was all about emotion and had no language and when he connected with people he could really reach dizzying heights and that is what it is. Furthermore, Anand said that Pathaan is a victory for Indian cinema and it is an exciting phase for our country to see films from all over India making records, breaking records and most importantly entertaining the people of our country around the world.
Work-wise, Siddharth Anand’s next director is Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Another movie in his pipeline is Mythri Movie Makers starring Prabhas. The director is expected to collaborate with actor Baahubali Hrithik Roshan in this film. After the success of Pathaan, the director has already signed a film with Mulk producer Deepak Mukut at an exorbitant price.
Pathaan is part of Aditya Chopra’s spy universe under the Yash Raj Films banner. So, the production company released Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and War in this category. The war is again led by Siddharth Anand. The hit action thriller Pathaan starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead role.
