Passion for cooking drives Jupiter’s mom from India to new project during pandemic

JUPITER, Fla .– For Iti Soni, it’s about spreading love through food.

“It wasn’t planned,” she says.

She has always had a passion for cooking.

“I like three things: taking pictures, using Facebook and preparing food,” Soni said.

What she didn’t know was that it would lead a profession to make a pandemic. This is one of those things about money during a tough time.

“I posted it, and my friends started asking about it.” Oh, your food looks so interesting. Can we try it? “, She says.

Word of mouth has led to inquiries by the hundreds. Finally, a few months ago, she bought a food truck at Jupiter Farms.

“I’m like making extended family here since we’re miles from India,” she said. “So I feel this connection. I feel this love and I make friends.”

Iti Soni says she feels love and makes friends with her food.

“I don’t even like to eat on Fridays until I see, like, how people like it,” she says.

In India, Soni said she worked in a bank and had an MBA in finance and a master’s degree in computer science. She is from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and traveled to the United States

“I came here, I became a housewife, mom, and I was like, ‘Why did I do all these things when I can’t do anything here? “, Did she say.

But that break, she believes, led to a plan.

“I think that’s it, like God, because I’ve always been a home mom,” she says. “I have so many degrees. I always wanted to do something. I wanted to represent India and I wanted to work.”

Now, it’s a contribution through creation, and she thinks that’s just the start.

Soni said that “this is all, like, spreading love through food.”
