Oscar Pistorius will not be released sooner from his 13-year, five-month prison sentence for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, a parole board has ruled.
The former Olympic and Paralympic athlete, known as Blade Runner, had applied for parole after serving half his prison sentence.
Earlier, Reeva Steenkamp’s mother said Pistorius was “without remorse or rehabilitated” before the hearing.
