Oppo teases new wireless buds, smartwatch and tablet to launch alongside Oppo Find X5 series

The Oppo Find X5 series is set to go official worldwide on February 24. Apart from the new flagship smartphone series comprising the Oppo Find X5 and Oppo Find X5 Pro models, Oppo plans to unveil several new products during the launch event. The Chinese smartphone company has teased the arrival of new wireless headphones, a smartwatch and a tablet via its official Weibo account. Oppo is expected to unveil a successor to the Oppo Enco X TWS which was introduced in 2020. Similarly, the upcoming watch will likely follow the Oppo Watch 2 unveiled in China in July last year.

Oppo announced the arrival of different devices on Thursday via a Weibo post with the tagline saying “there is more than one flagship” (translated). The company’s teaser poster suggests the launch of a pair of wireless headphones, a new smartwatch and a tablet. More details about Oppo’s upcoming products are unknown at this time. The next headphones are expected to succeed the Oppo Enco X TWS headphones. Recently, the Oppo Enco X2 TWS headphones appeared in a leak too. As for the next smartwatch, it should succeed the Oppo Watch 2 launched last year in 42 mm and 46 mm versions.

The rumored Oppo Pad, which has been reported many times in the past, could be the company’s next offering in the tablet lineup. According to previous leaks, the tablet could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. Oppo Pad should run on ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The company has already announced that the launch of the Oppo Find X5 series will take place on February 24 in an event scheduled for 11:00 GMT (16:30 IST). As the launch event approaches, Oppo is expected to announce more details about the launch of new headphones, watches and tablets soon.

The Oppo Find X5 and Oppo Find X5 Pro smartphones will be equipped with the MariSilicon X imaging neural processing unit (NPU). The phones will be available in black and white color options, and the brand is expected to launch the devices in more colorways as well. Oppo is also hosting an Early Trial event to preview the Oppo Find X5 and Oppo Find X5 Pro smartphones ahead of the general release.
