Oppo F21 Pro has started receiving a new OTA software update which brings Android 13 based ColorOS 13 to the handset. The beta version of this update was introduced on the Oppo F21 Pro earlier this year in September and now the stable version of the same is available. The update is currently available for users in India and Indonesia. ColorOS 13 comes with a revamped color scheme, a new font, and a dynamic calculation engine that’s supposed to improve battery life.
According to an Oppo post on its official community page, the update for the Oppo F21 Pro comes with build number C.31. Oppo’s latest OTA software update will be released to devices gradually. Users of these phones can access Settings > About device to check if their device has received the update.
The new ColorOS 13 update includes several new features. It gets a revamped color palette that changes hues throughout the day. Moreover, it also offers improved fonts that make the text easier to read. ColorOS 13 also improves always-on display with new styles and integration with third-party apps.
The Oppo F21 Pro was launched earlier this year with Snapdragon 695 SoC and ColorOS 12 UI based on Android 11 on top. The phone also has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display, 8GB of RAM, and a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary rear camera. It houses a 4,500mAh battery that offers 33W fast charging support.
Meanwhile, Oppo launched the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 in China earlier today. The standard Oppo Reno 9 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SOC, while the Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro+ receive a Snapdragon 778G SoC and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC respectively.
