OnePlus’ next tablet is a budget model called OnePlus Pad Go

OnePlus is making a new budget tablet called the OnePlus Pad Go, according to Digital trends. It will have an 11.6-inch 2.4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, according to the report, and will launch alongside OnePlus’ OxygenOS 13. However, we do not know when it will arrive or for how much. OnePlus India X account teased what appears to be the tablet Thursday, so it looks like the tablet will at least launch in India soon.
Digital trendsThe report was light on other details like storage or processor power, but it’s a safe bet that OnePlus gave it more modest specs than the OnePlus Pad released earlier this year. OnePlus President Kinder Liu reportedly said it would be a “mid-range entertainment tablet.”
The Pad Go’s claimed 2,800 x 2,000 resolution matches that of the OnePlus Pad, and it looks almost identical, with curved edges, an iPad-like bezel, and a large rear camera centered along the long edge. The biggest visible difference is the two-tone look on the back, as you can see on Digital trends publish on X, formerly Twitter:
Additionally, like the OnePlus Pad, the Pad Go will apparently benefit from the company’s Apple-like ecosystem features that will let you sync content, copy and paste, and manage phone calls on OnePlus devices. The edge‘s Dan Seifert said in his review of the OnePlus Pad that the performance tablet felt “a bit like a throwback to the old OnePlus.” We will see if the company’s budget is the same.
