One person seriously injured after truck crash with Amtrak train in Oakland, authorities say

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) — A person is injured after his truck crashed into an Amtrak train in Oakland on Friday morning, authorities said.

It happened around 11 a.m. on the 50th Avenue lanes between Coliseum Way and San Leandro Street. Authorities say the train was heading south toward San Jose.

We are told that the driver of the truck is seriously injured.

Authorities believe no one on the train was injured.
