On Most Expensive Thanksgiving in History, Biden Says ‘America’s Back’

President Joe Biden claimed Thanksgiving Day “America’s back” as food prices hit all-time highs and the holiday will cost 14% more than last year.

Biden appealed to Al Roker’s coverage of Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, when the host wanted Biden’s “message to Americans that day.”

“My message is after two years, you’re back, America is back, there’s nothing we can’t get over, Al,” Biden said. “And you are one of the reasons. You are always standing and moving.

Roker thanked the 79-year-old and told him “Santa is coming,” to which the president replied, “I’m waiting for Santa.

Americans face the costliest Thanksgiving on record, as John Carney of Breitbart News reported, “thanks to the inflationary fiscal policies of President Joe Biden’s administration.”

“The price of turkey is a huge driver of Thanksgiving inflation this year,” Carney said. “With no turkey, however, the average cost is still up 6%, according to the Farm Bureau.”

As inflation hits a three-decade high, Biden and his family are spending Thanksgiving at the compound of a private equity billionaire in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

All the while, the president’s approval rating has hit a new low “showing just 42%,” as Breitbart News reported. In that poll, inflation was by far the biggest economic problem for respondents, holding 39%.
