Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis Fans were left in shock when they were spotted hugging after an intense year between the former couple, who split in 2020 after a decade-long romance. The Book smart director, 38 years old, and the Horrible bosses alum, 47, seemed on very friendly terms as they chatted and hugged in Los Angeles on Friday, January 28, as seen in photos provided by TMZ. A source from the outlet said the couple had been in a meeting together before seeing each other happily.

The snaps certainly raised eyebrows for the duo, who share their son Otis8 years old and his daughter Daisy, 6, have been having quite a tumultuous time lately, which has made it seem like they’ve gone downright sour on each other. While all was relatively quiet after they first split three years ago, speculation of bad blood began after Olivia was served custody papers on Jason’s behalf as she was on stage at CinemaCon in April 2022. Jason denied knowing about it, while Olivia called it a “vicious move.”

By the time the paper custody drama exploded, Olivia was already deep in her romance with Harry Styles. The couple had met and started dating while filming the scandal Don’t worry honey. With cast layoffs, feuds and Spitgate making the film’s headlines, Olivia couldn’t escape the scrutiny of her high-profile new romance.

On top of that, Olivia and Jason’s former nanny has come out with alleged bombshells about their relationship. According to the nanny, Olivia had once made Harry a salad, which upset Jason so much that he threw himself under Olivia’s car. In a rare show of unity, Olivia and Jason denied the rumors together. “As parents, it is incredibly heartbreaking to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to publicly make such false and scurrilous accusations about us,” they wrote in a statement provided to HollywoodLife.
