Oleksandr Usyk reacts to Anthony Joshua’s anger after fight and warns him not to clash with his team members as they are ‘horrible street fighters’

Oleksandr Usyk has warned Anthony Joshua to avoid coming up against his team again in the future as they are ‘horrible street fighters’.

AJ was angry in the ring after being beaten again on Saturday night, but the Ukrainian insisted he didn’t take it personally.

The fight itself started with a few tentative opening rounds as Usyk applied his typical elusive move and landed a few straight lefts as Joshua fired right hands to the body.

After the ninth round, it looked close as AJ opened up and fired at Usyk, seeming to truly confuse him for the first time in either of their fights.

However, the Ukrainian responded brilliantly with a dominating tenth that put him on the winning streak.

He also appeared to win the final two, cementing the second straight triumph.

One judge scored 115-113 for Joshua, but the other two made it 115-113 and 116-112 for Usyk, crowning him the winner by split decision.

Joshua reacted furiously, first taking two of Usyk’s belts and throwing them out of the ring.

He then engaged in angry exchanges with members of his opponent’s team before storming the ring.

Joshua quickly returned to deliver an impassioned speech with which some argued he stole Usyk’s moment.

At his post-fight press conference, Usyk was asked about the bizarre sequence of events.

“I feel nothing but respect for AJ,” he said.

“I saw him a little emotional and I liked to bully some of my teammates.

“That would be a bare-knuckle fight which I wouldn’t recommend him do because most of them are horrible street fighters.”
