Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police Officer First Class Lopez rescued the two birds after a call that they were in distress. Apparently, a tree containing the two baby ospreys fell due to a storm, resulting in the destruction of their nest. Unfortunately, the birds were unable to fly due to heavy rain.
