Ocasio-Cortez Could Be the 2024 Presidential Candidate – ‘Don’t Count the AOC Out’

On Sunday, former Bill Clinton adviser Dick Morris nominated Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as a potential Democratic nominee for president in 2024.

Morris, the host of “Dick Morris Democracy” on Newsmax TV, said the “ultimate nightmare” scenario would be for Ocasio-Cortez to win the presidency, though he predicted Trump would “beat her to a pulp.”

“Behold the ultimate nightmare – President Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. President AOC. [It] could happen,” Morris pointed out. “She will be 35, the age specified in the Constitution to be president, three months before she takes office in 2024. Happy birthday. And the politics of that year are going in such a way that I think there’s a real chance that AOC will run and even get nominated.

“Democrats are desperate and they want to get rid of Biden, who will be 81 in 24,” he continued. “They are losing more of the Hispanic vote every day. The latest polls have Trump beating Biden among Latinos — actually winning Latinos. So Democrats, in desperation, might turn to a charismatic young Latin woman like AOC. Thank God I don’t think she can be elected. I think Trump is going to beat her to a pulp. But don’t rely on AOC. She could well be the Democratic candidate.
