OC man turns himself in after video shows dog being attacked

An Anaheim man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of animal cruelty after a video went viral showing him kicking and punching his dog in the hallway of an apartment building, reports said. authorities.

Albert Abad, 33, surrendered around 1:30 a.m. and was being held on $15,000 bond in the case, which happened at the Gateway Apartments near Angel Stadium on September 15, according to the police department from Anaheim.

Abad was seen on a Ring doorbell camera approaching the black Goldendoodle, which he chased across the hall and repeatedly punched and then kicked, Sgt. said Shane Carringer.
