FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Fire crews are closing in on bringing the Mariposa County Oak Fire under control that has destroyed more than 100 homes.
Containment increased to 98% after burning over 19,000 acres.
CAL FIRE expects the fire to be fully contained by Wednesday.
Firefighters say blaze activity has been low for the past few days.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what started the fire, which has been burning for more than two weeks.
