NYC subway gunshot injures man, suspect at large: report


A A man opened fire on a moving subway train in New York on Sunday, hitting another man in the chest, police said. The suspect is at large.

The shooting took place shortly before noon on a Q train in Manhattan just before arriving at the Canal Street station, WNBC-TV reported.

The police were looking for a suspect.

Recent subway crime has put New Yorkers on edge. Last month, a man threw smoke grenades into a Brooklyn train and killed 10 people.
