NYC, 14-year-old boy stabbed in subway station

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed on the platform of a Queens subway station in an attack Wednesday morning, police said.

The teen was attacked by an unknown suspect after leaving a southbound 7 train at 90 Street-Elmhurst Avenue in Jackson Heights around 8:40 a.m., according to the NYPD.

The assailant, without saying a word, approached the victim and stabbed him with a sharp object in the abdomen, cops said.

The suspect fled and was still wanted on Wednesday evening.

Police said the victim was taken by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
