NSYNC fans, get ready for a blast from the past. The beloved boy band has reunited once again to record their first new music track in over 20 years, and it’s coming very soon.
The beloved boy band has reunited for a brand new song set for release later this month called “Better Place.” The melody was written and recorded specifically for the upcoming film The trolls are regroupingthe third installment of the animated franchise.
After weeks of rumors about a possible reunion and new music from the quintet, the news appears to have been confirmed via a new trailer for The trolls are regrouping just out.
Speculation about an NSYNC reunion has been swirling for some time and seems to be growing more plausible with each passing day. The band’s signature font and just an N appeared on posters promoting The trolls are regrouping in New York, which many who recognize this lettering quickly understood.
The inclusion of NSYNC in The trolls are regrouping It makes sense, since Justin Timberlake, the boy band’s most famous member, has been a part of the franchise since the beginning. He plays a character named Branch and he also wrote songs for the first two films.
Timberlake even scored a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 with his single “Can’t Stop The Feeling.” The song also earned the singer-songwriter his first Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song, although that year the award went to “City of Stars” from The The Earth.
An NSYNC meeting also fits perfectly with The Trolls regroup storyline, as it involves a group of boys getting together.
The rumors seemed to be confirmed earlier this week after NSYNC made a highly anticipated appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards. All five members of the boy band were present to present the award for best pop, which ended up going to Taylor Swift for the visual for her single “Anti-Hero.” Fans were excited to see the group together again, and even Swift herself seemed starstruck.
“Better Place” is scheduled to be released on September 29, but it is not yet clear whether it will be accompanied by a music video. The band’s label may or may not promote it on the radio, perhaps in the hopes of making it a real hit.
The trolls are regrouping is scheduled to hit theaters on November 17.
