A violent fight broke out at Suncorp Stadium, with several fans involved in a scuffle which shocked onlookers.
Captured by a phone camera from the ground, 9News reporter Mark Gottlieb posted the sighting on Twitter, describing it as “another shameful act”.
The brawl is the second instance of crowd violence to spoil a game at Suncorp Stadium in recent weeks, following wild scenes on Anzac Day as the Broncos clashed with the Bulldogs.

On that occasion, the crowd turned on a Broncos fan who allegedly shouted during the minute’s silence as part of the pre-game ceremony, with a Bulldogs fan grabbing him and punching him multiple times in the head .
The incident as the Broncos clashed with Manly on the opening night of the Magic Round appeared to be more widespread, with multiple fights breaking out between fans in the same seating area.
In the video shared by Gottlieb, fans wearing shirts to support several different teams are involved, with one supporter falling backwards across several rows of seats after being hit in the head.
Fires then break out between several other fans. One can be heard asking “where’s the security”, while many others cheer and scoff.
Journalist Brett Darbritz responded to Gottlieb’s tweet, writing, “I have family members who take their grandkids to soccer. It won’t happen unless it’s eradicated.”
